But statistics gathered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services show that only one in three adults achieve the recommended amount of physical activity each week, and more than 80% of adults do not meet the guidelines for both aerobic and muscle-strengthening activities. This is especially true with the busy schedule of today’s employees. Work, family, and social commitments make it difficult to incorporate a regular workout routine.
At Callan Capital, we have implemented CAL FIT to motivate employees and encourage 30 min of exercise a day, four times a week. Research shows that as little as 30 minutes of exercise per day can boost our general health and well-being.
